Flo & Sang is a fashionable lifestyle brand created by two highly creative individuals.

Fiona Dexter (a.k.a. Flo) has been involved in design for over 20 years. During this time she’s worked as a designer and consultant for small, exclusive boutiques and major high street brands.

Fiona worked closely with George Davies (Next) to create George at Asda, and developed the much loved Per Una range for Marks & Spencer.

As well as bringing great brand experience to Flo & Sang, Fiona has a background in the international fashion and textiles industry. It was during this time that she developed her meticulous eye for quality and detailing which now resonates throughout the Flo & Sang range.

A keen tennis player, with a love of horses, Fiona’s character combines limitless ambition with a competitive edge. Her personal style is a clean, effortless look that projects confidence and laid-back chic.

Sangita Khan (a.k.a. Sang) is a successful designer in her own right. Sangita has been working in fashion design for nearly 15 years, most of which was spent running her own international fashion design business.

Sangita has designed for many top high street stores and has worked closely with Jeff Banks in designing and developing ranges for his customers.

Sangita has a flair for imaginative styling, and a technical know-how when it comes to garment design and construction. Her knowledge and experience is reflected in the striking shapes and silhouettes which form the foundation of Flo & Sang clothing.

A keep fit fanatic, Sangita can often be found at the gym, and even enjoys the occasional half marathon. Her personal style is an eclectic mix of modern and sophisticated which reflects her ‘young in spirit and young at heart’ philosophy.

Flo & Sang was launched on September 24th 2009 with a glittering catwalk show that wowed audiences. The post catwalk viewing and sale was such a hit, that many products sold out within an hour of going on sale.

Celebrity hairdresser and stylist, Tara Smith was on hand to show the models what they could really do with their hair, and was well supported by Leicester’s own hairdresser and stylist, Indy.

All proceeds from ticket sales were donated to Hope Cancer.

Both Fiona and Sangita have an ‘anything is achievable‘ attitude, and this forms the foundation of their strong work ethic. Their constant drive for excellence can be seen in their product range, whether it’s a beautiful evening dress or a simple, (yet no less essential!) hand-wash. This is why you’ll find that every item in the Flo & Sang range carries their trademark sense of style and quality.
